I must admit.................I do like to work on a minimalist canvass.
If all the elements come together............then to my way of thinking........very pleasing effects can occur.
This was taken at a friend's bar..........it was the end of the summer season and everything was being put away for the winter.......

In my experience most photographs are created from a few simple elements..........light,line, form......colour.........you get the idea.
Most of my stuff consists of compositions like that.
I allow my head, my eye, and my heart to determine the outcome......
The extent to which these three components interact is something I cannot quantify...........I suppose they just happen..........
In the end.........this uncertainty is the crucial force in my creative process......I have all the raw materials and occasionally when they come into contact with that vital spark............
